David Engelhard is a Saxophonist and Pianist based in New York City. Originally from Atlanta, David holds a Master's Degree in Jazz Performance from Queens College, where he studied with renowned musicians including Antonio Hart, as well as privately with David Sanchez, David Binney, Donny McClaslin, and Aaron Goldberg. In addition to regularly performing his own jazz material around NYC, David has toured extensively with the Zac Brown Band. He performed on their Live at the Fabulous Fox Theater DVD and at other high-profile events like the 2011 Country Music Awards with Gregg Allman and Tom Scott. He has also shared the stage with major artists like John Mayer and Scott Weiland. Beyond performing, David is an accomplished composer who has created works for modern dance productions and commemorative performances at the United Nations.
As a teacher, David has led masterclasses around the world and can be found teaching Jazz Improv classes and private lessons in NYC.
